AMAZING! It just takes one word to describe Riley. He is an incredible dog, whose story absolutely breaks my heart: A beloved family dog, now searching for his forever home again. As you can see in his pictures, Riley lived a full life and loved it! He is an absolute snoozer, enjoys soft pillows, playing in the water and running on the beach. One of Riley's favourite past time activities is to sunbathe and he is definitely a pro at that! Riley is a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog, a breed that was created by mixing dogs from France and dogs of Native Americans. Catahoula means "blue or clear water" and Riley's coat has amazing shades of blue. But not only his looks are stunning, he also is very well behaved in the home and in addition he has received professional obedience training. He walks great on the leash, comes when called and is solid with all his commands. Riley can be a bit nervous with strangers, therefore we are looking to place him into a calm and structured household. He is an absolute snuggle-bunny and couch potato once he is comfortable and will keep your feet warm, watching TV. Basically, Riley is the PERFECT combination of man's (or woman's) best friend and adventurer with the outdoors!
