Herbie (formerly known as Hy) loves life and always has a big smile on his face. Herbie has an amazing spirit: He was found in a park in Bakersfield with a broken and fused jaw. His rescuers brought him to LA and a local vet dentist performed surgery to allow Herbie to actually open his mouth and eat like a normal dog. Herbie has completely recovered and his favourite past time activity is to prance around with his toys in his mouth (We yet have to capture this in a pic, coming soon...). Herbie's favourite color is red and he is just a total lover. Herbie is VERY affectionate and walks ABSOLUTELY PERFECT on the leash! He has completed his obedience training and is a smart little student. Herbie is also crate trained and housetrained. Herbie is active and loves to go for walks (especially the car rides to his outings). He enjoys a nice swim in our play pool and Herbie also likes to play ball BUT: Herbie's most special time is, when he is cuddling up with his person/family. Herbie is a unique and special dog, he kept an amazing spirit and friendliness despite, all he went through.
