URGENT - URGENT - URGENT Adorable Hero was found by a senior lady on busy city street. He appeared to have been hit by a car. The lady was able to tell immediately, how sweet Hero was and even though, she could hardly walk herself, she managed to get Hero to the nearest dog boarding facility in hopes of getting help for Hero. The boarding facility called the nearest shelter for help and Hero was brought there to be seen by a vet. After a few days on pain medications and some muscle relaxers, Hero is doing great. His x-rays showed, that he was lucky to have gotten only a couple of bruises but all his bones and his hips are fine! But this wonderful dog is not out of the woods yet: Hero is NOT SAFE at a rescue, he is at a public shelter, where he can be killed at any time!!!! The shelter staff adores him and does their best but the shelter is FULL! Hero is a very laid back, super nice dog! He rides well in the car and loves to give gentle kisses.
