R.I.P.- Easter Sunday 2017 was not a happy day for us at the rescue. Dave, who just recently had a complete health check-up at the vet and gotten a clean bill of health, passed away suddenly. He will be especially missed by our founder David and his BFF and special care-taker Kayla. Dave was one of our few lucky dogs who had a sponsor who spoiled him with toys and special treats. He loved every minute of it and acted like a puppy with his new toys. We will miss you, sweet Dave.


Handsome, strong and smart! Dave is a wonderful dog who would love to be your big cuddle bunny! Dave is a bit nervous with new people but once he gets to know you, he will be the shining knight by your side. He loves to go on hikes or walks and would do best in a calm, adult home with yard access, where he can lounge in the sun. Dave has received professional obedience training. We think that he's great looking with his brindle coat but according to statistics, black and brindle dogs have the hardest time finding homes.
