Meet beautiful Marley! Marley was rescued from a kill shelter in LA county. Her human passed away and the immediate family dumped her at the shelter. Marley is a 2 yo, spayed female, who is good with dogs, kids and likely cats. She is highly intelligent and high energy, but knows how to settle inside the house. She is not a barker, but barks when excited about going to the beach, going on hikes, meeting new people. Marley would do best with active, dog-devoted humans, who understand the border collie breed and their need for both mental and physical exercise, like doing agility and other mental training routines. She would do even better in a home with decent size yard and another playful dog. Marley is bigger/taller than she appears; she is 57 lbs, strong and agile. Marley LOVES the beach and is looking for a home in Santa Barbara, Thousand Oaks, Ventura, Calabasas, Malibu, Pacific Palisades –– somewhere coastal and close to nature. She would not fair well in an apartment or a condo or in an urban setting, like densely populated areas of Los Angeles.
